Safford can follow that visible example by developing demonstration sites at intersections like 2nd Avenue and 15th Street and another prominent location.
As residents see the added beauty, decreased road temperatures, greater abundance of pollinators, birdlife, and edible options, they become more open to replicating the designs in their own neighborhoods. These tangible results make it easier to educate the public about responsible water harvesting methods and the benefits they offer personally. The visible success also lays groundwork for municipal cooperation to bring greater productivity to residential streets.
